Oasis Dental Care wants every patient to be able to use our website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We test the site with automated tools and by hand, and we fix problems as we find them.
What we have done
- Visible keyboard focus and a “Skip to main content” link on every page
- Pinch-to-zoom enabled on phones
- Menus, forms and buttons that work with a keyboard alone
- Text descriptions for images, titles for embedded videos and maps
- Improved color contrast for text and buttons
Known limitations
Some features come from outside companies, and we do not control their code: online appointment booking, online bill payment, new-patient forms, the patient reviews display, and some patient-education videos. We have asked these providers for their accessibility documentation. If any of them gives you trouble, please call us and we will take care of it by phone.
